We invite you to submit an abstract to this year’s ICAPP meeting, which will be held in Chicago on June 24-28, 2012.

Abstract Submissions for ICAPP ’12 are due October 15, 2011 at www.icapp.ans.org/icapp12. Authors should submit a one-page 500 word abstract (text only) with name, affiliation, address, phone, fax and email information. Please Indicate Track Number. ICAPP provides a forum for leaders of the nuclear industry to exchange information, present results from their work, review the state of the industry, and discuss future directions and needs for the deployment of new nuclear power plant systems around the world. ICAPP will gather industry leaders in several invited lectures in plenary sessions.

The International Congress on Advances in Nuclear Power Plants (ICAPP) is an annual event, cosponsored by ANS, AESJ, KNS and SFEN and a number of major international nuclear societies. Since its inception in 2002, ICAPP has been held as an international embedded topical meeting during the annual meeting of the American Nuclear Society biannually. ICAPP is held in Europe and Asia during years that it is not held in the United States.

This congress welcomes the submission of full-length technical papers, which will be peer reviewed and published on a CDROM. All authors will present their papers in English. About 20 minutes will be allotted for each paper. At least one author is required to register for the congress.

Convocatoria a Asamblea General Ordinaria

Por este medio me es grato convocar a los miembros de la Sociedad Nuclear Mexicana a una Asamblea General Ordinaria el día 9 de agosto de 2011, de las 16:40 a las 18:00 hrs en el Hotel Meliá Cabo Real de Los Cabos Baja California Sur. ORDEN DEL DÍA 1. Designación de Secretario y dos escrutadores y verificación del quórum. 2. Informe de la Mesa Directiva de la SNM. 3. Aprobación de cuotas para 2012. 4. Admisión de miembros. 5. Aprobación de Comité Electoral (Presidente, Vocal y Secretario) para 2012. 6. Informe sobre el desarrollo del XXII Congreso Anual. 7. Aprobación de sede para el XXIII Congreso Anual. 8. Asuntos generales. 9. Clausura. Por la importancia que esta Asamblea representa para la SNM esperamos contar con su valiosa asistencia. Sin más por el momento aprovecho para enviarles mis más cordiales saludos. Debemos ser muy cuidadosos de que las actas de asamblea general y electoral queden perfectamente bien elaboradas para que su protocolización ante notario no tenga ningún problema.
